An author finally worthy of the name!

Since I discovered Karine Giegel, I continued to read all his novels, in the disorder of their appearance, but who cares! For months I was getting bored in serious thrillers readings from his store, and completely missed frapadingues! Karine, we have no regrets, we have indeed dealing with a "literary" that is able to use all the registers to give the larger his novels, with a continuous suspense that makes us swallow the pages as if we were starving! And it is always with regret that we reach the last page.

With Elicius Terminus, one is plunged again in both anxiety and curiosity facing this young girl a little shy is delighted to have found love in the person of an anonymous traveler, it leaves private letters and inflamed the days, all hidden in a chair she takes the train every day to work in her office. Along with this little flirtation that is becoming increasingly important throughout the trip, horrible women murders are committed regularly, and service inspector has the twisting line to find the killer.

It would be silly to go into details to tell the story, you will buy this little detective to know everything and be sure to spend some quality time, taking you sympathy, as always, for the characters, always in doubt, fear, always in search of love also, and understanding and trust. A strange thriller, which always feel pity even for the sad individuals, victims of their urges and their misfortunes.

It is almost impossible to find the riddle of the story happens in Marseille, both rebondissemnts and tracks are unexpected and well done. I never tire of reading Karine Giebel, to believe that the South of France inspires our author.

Finally a first novel, rather short, but dense, precise, searched. An amazing writing style (and I like Flaubert and large "classic"), but I like this way of saying and felt. Many try to copy Giebel, but all failed. So that's why it remains for me one of the best authors of detective novels of our current generation, and who knows, maybe the best!
