An essential product if you want to stay connected when traveling with a tablet.

I acquired this right before a journey of several weeks in Japan from hotel to hotel. At first I thought all the hotels in this country were offering WiFi and my Android tablet sufficient to be connected to the internet (especially for book hotels in As). But taken of a doubt I wanted a simple way to use the tablet (which does not include a RJ45 input) if I only had a cable connection. The only product that exactly met my need is precisely this BobjGear adapter which, not surprisingly, meets the stated function.

It is possible that other adapters work equally well, but none too clearly mentions Android tablets.

I would add that, contrary to what one might think, most hotels (middle class) where I stayed did not offer Wi-Fi, but a cable connection.
