by now using the catchy Manfrotto MK294A3-D3RC2 294 Tripod Set (incl. Aluminum Tripod with 3-way Neiger 804RC2) I would like to ask my review available.
First I want to point out that this is a VINE product tester review, although this is not listed as such. In VINE program I've picked out a tripod for test and mistakenly received a monopod. The tripod was subsequently asked me for the assessment. Therefore the green VINE product testers Button does not exist.
So far, I've tried a few smaller stands in the lower price segment and was basically of their performance not disappointed. Of course that was before using the Manfrotto tripod kits.
Now for the review:
The stand has been delivered in an appropriate box. After unpacking we had to complete the 3-way pan head with the handles provided. This was relatively fixed. Thus, the stand was ready for use after a few minutes. The weight is for my purposes in order, as I take a tripod usually targeted to its place of use.
The tripod included 3-way pan head weighs approximately 2.5kg.
I use a Canon EOS 450D with various lenses (macro, telephoto, etc.). The quick release shall keep the whole perfectly, even if a bit larger and heavier lens like the Canon EF-S 17-55mm in conjunction with the EOS 450D.
The 3 attached extracts are very well made. They can be variably adjusted in height and angle, so that, for example, can also be reached on a hillside quite a firm stand. After locking the drawers (especially in the middle of the exhaustion stage of an extract) the tripod keeps really bombproof. The structure of the stand is done relatively fixed by the large mounted terminals.
The 3-way pan head does its job very well. To record video, the smoothness is not quite given as to tighten and loosen the handles they move rather jerky. This should be observed in any case, if one tends more to video recordings. For photography, this is not mandatory, since the hold of the tripod is essential here. The 3-way pan head is supplied with a quick-attach system. This is relatively easy to attach to the camera and holding a rock. Engaging in the tripod is wonderfully light, the camera keeps very well.
Personally, I'm just 180cm tall or small (depending on the perspective) and can no longer look at the maximum extended level (including middle part) in the viewfinder. Thus, in my opinion, should people be able to work wonderfully with the tripod with 190cm.
Something struck me negative is that the level indicator is not always correct. If one calibrates the mounted in Neiger level, the level indicator is always set to 0 degrees. This is relatively unimportant, but I wanted to mention it anyway. The decisive factor is the calibration by water scale.
Conclusion:
Those looking for a high quality (to my mind) Stativset, can safely access. The price and quality is always room for improvement exists, no one may doubt. For the average amateur photographers the tripod will certainly do the trick. If you want 100% anti-shake, to photograph with a remote control / remote triggering and / or time delay. The triggering of a finger to the camera are certainly minimal vibrations continued, so that one can not speak of 100% anti-shake here. This is not necessarily the product.
I am absolutely satisfied with the product and have my opinion, can trigger very good shots with it. Therefore, there can only be 5 stars from my side starting.
Should you decide to buy the Manfrotto tripod sets, I wish you great shots and a secure footing.
If you have experienced this review for too one-sided, I apologize, but that is my subjective impression after
catchy use of the article. Please feel free to contact me via comment button.
