An excellent combination with the EOS 70D

So far I have not read anything yet on whether and how the EOS 70D and the Canon EF 70-300mm 1: 4-5.6 L cooperate. So get into the photo shop and tried. I wanted something better than the Tamron 70-300, which is already well and safe for its price unbeatable. But I wanted to have between 200 and 300 mm suffered no visible loss of quality, but just can fully exploit the long end. I swayed in the shop a long time between the 70-300 and the 70-200 f / 4 L. Both have a fantastic image quality, although I liked the interior focusing of 70-200er particularly well. Nevertheless, I decided on the 100 mm longer focal length and have never regretted it at all.

The lens does what ago, is processed very valuable, splashproof, the autofocus is fast, the two IS modes are great and do their job well. Even 1/60 sec at 300 mm are thus at my hand yet possible, but I also have a very steady hand, I must say. Autofocus and thus the communication between my EOS 70D and this telephoto work excellently. I have nothing to complain about. Only at low contrast and non-optimal light conditions gets the phase AF 70D my problems and get back no knack sharp photo. But for that it works with the Live View 100% well even in low light / contrast in the scene.

I am very pleased by the Bank. The lens is of course difficult, but what I find very good, yet compact and fits in any camera bag. Top! Furthermore, the L lens is as usual therefore with lens hood and protective bag. Also top. I am convinced of the purchase and am proud these L-lens can now call my own. Example photos follow.
