The lens is extremely high and hard, which I like very well. Zoom and focus ring are "stiff" as it should be. The imaging performance is fanatastisch. Photos are sharp, the background blur is beautiful. However, I had to fine-tune the lens, which fortunately worked on my EOS 70D on board. I have not bought myself the dock and the lens does not need to send. After adjustment, I have all focal lengths away the sharpness where I want them. I'm very satisfied.
I am currently still waiting for a Lightroom correction profile to wegzukriegen distortion. Moreover, I do not know whether my image stabilizer is not yet missing time. To date, the situation arose not quite. If me the stability but should sometimes be lacking for very evening shots from the hand, I will possibly look for another solution. So far, I get indoors in dim candle or lamp light at ISO 3200 but very well without stability. The noise I got with Lightroom wonderful (assuming RAW) in the handle.
A great lens, perfect for cropping, great feel, great sharpness, I'm happy.

Update July 1, 2014: This lens is loud Colorfoto respect marksmanship during AF the perfect lens for the 70D and I can only confirm use after a few months. I have no blur Committee in focusing through the viewfinder (!) - Even at maximum aperture. The sharpness is loud test at 95 to 100%, ie the autofocus is so precise that the final results come close to a perfect manually focused reference image. No other tested lens even comes close to these values. I remain completely thrilled and can particularly recommend the EOS 70D buyers for this bright lens.
