It offers a good grip of the 70D, both horizontally and vertically.
Battery LP-E6 (identical to 7D, 60D 6D, 5D Mark II / III) are not light, this grip 2 battery provides more weight, which to my taste, improves a little more grip in the firming and therefore stability.
It does not offer, like the grip Canon BG-E14 opportunity on the power sector, but with 2 batteries it doubles the autonomy of the 70D (and can also accommodate 6 AA batteries) (it is almost 3x cheaper)
