No problem with D5200 and 55-300 above! I thought I should deploy fully for normal use because I measure 1m88 but in fact I did not stretch out the last section (the finer) and like that it is sufficiently high and very stable, no problems whatsoever in landscape mode or portrait nothing moves fashion great! It can support 3kg without any problems! The handling of the ball is very nice, soft and smooth! Delighted with my purchase! Having bought a BEFREE manfrotto supposedly great (and costing over 100 anyway) and I refer the BEFREE well as 100 more are VERY WIDELY evaluated on keeping only one !!
