Previously, the saw has been resealed by me (shaft seals on the crankshaft renewed), renewed the carburetor, renewed piston incl. Piston rings and replace the spark plug. But the existing Zundfunken with the old Bosch ignition had led me up the garden path.
It could thus only be a defective ignition!
Option 1: restore Bosch ignition like a lover, replace capacitor and contact set. If you have exchanged these parts it could end still be the ignition coil is defective.
Option 2: Complete the contacts and the capacitor of the old Bosch ignition by an external electronic module. Electronic module is favorable, but would on the housing, or even look under the hood to tinkering. When the ignition of the old Bosch ignition is defective good is the electronic module also nothing and the tinkering continues.
Option 3: Remove the base plate of the old Bosch ignition and keep together with the original carburetor for lovers at the saw. Instead of the old base this installing of EMAS. Note: The new base plate is provided with slots, just like the old base and must be mounted in a clockwise direction to set a maximum pre-ignition. It does not matter how old the base plate was positioned in their slots, may have been the adjusted anyway due to worn contacts by the previous owner. But you should note that the ignition of the new stator plate is below, as in the old.
For this third option, I have finally decided and the saw is running again!
The only drawback is the lack of installation instructions to this ignition. There is no evidence to ignition timing, but perhaps this experience is above for positioning the ignition base plate helpful.
