Many positive customer opinions and various reviews (what test actually there ...?) Have ultimately led me to the purchase of the Philips PFL6007 in the 55 version. The well-known software problems I have not taken so seriously, I thought that is better already by appropriate updates. Unfortunately, there has probably been abandoned to get the almost unsolvable problems under control Philips. In my case, it was so that the image quality and thus the liquid movement representation was poor by any update. The updates as such you have to download from the Philips-site, pull on a USB stick and then transferred to the TV. Also, this is connected with some problems - but it works even better and sometimes worse. If someone on the idea of the updates come directly in the TV menu to download (which actually would be normal) he will find that the whole TV hangs simply - nothing works - here the examiner has only pull the mains plug - wait and restart again. The image quality was by serious by its over weeks - wandered along the image jerky - the movements were in no shape more liquid - even a nod led to stuttering. The station logos trembled and led a life of its own. All the so-called image enhancer on the device has to make the whole thing worse. Dozens of settings - but nothing works properly. About This 6000 series there are now long been a forum - right in the Philips Support. Studied several reports you (many negatives were probably already sorted or reordered). Philips employees obvious reply is no longer - there are apparently no more solutions. Another shortcoming is the connection of the TV via WLAN. Although everything is set up the TV then continuously the message: it is a WiFi connection for - or interrupted network connection. This cute box then comes as every 30 minutes - after confirmation it disappears again - to stop the next time. Some may now sure the router think is too far away or the Internet speed is too low - but I have a 100000er speed (wired) and full reception strength. Other negatives: very cheap remote control - hard to handle, very long switching times of partly 4 seconds - all functions slow work. Plus point: Ambilight (really great) - but let's face it, to a TV the picture is now times the most important thing - this is definitely not the case with this model - the movements are simply catastrophic. Since the four weeks return period has been exceeded by 7 weeks the thinking for sure: Thus I must now having trouble years. No ... I have Amazon the problem, you really get a detailed answer within a few hours and can be picked up my TV again - return ticket, an extensive explanation and a day later already a fixed collection date by Hermes. An excellent customer service from Amazon - could not be better - at this point again a big compliment - The purchase price will be fully refunded me BTW. I have then another unit of Amazon (with whom because actually otherwise with such a customer service !!) ordered - for worse than in this Philips can not occur. I hope I could all the people standing in front of the decision - which TV, and that's really not easy these days, a little help.
