The author Bi Feiyu, refers to Flaubert, Sartre, and very often to the maxims of Mao, whose book is full. He described the situation of two girls in the 1970s and that of the third in the 1980s. The story of these three sisters is a pretext to denounce the situation in his country and the devastation it has caused. In 1982, teachers have only prolong the ravages of the Cultural Revolution, even if they were victims themselves. So, every Chinese is given the demon of "the domination of others," the most modest to the most powerful Chinese Chinese. As such, the book is very interesting.
