An inspiring message to everyone of us

The Book is a very inspiring book. In the first part the author shares her experiences from her childhood, Allowing the reader to get to glimpse of who the person is who is is sharing this information. Her childhood experiences sound like from another century. It's hard to believe thatthis happened in the late 20th century - yet it shows That even in the 'modern age' you have social conditions at some places did we think to have long vanished in what we call 'the past'.

The main message she is shareing Is that We Must Stop Following our ego Which is Solely looking for self-gratification, but rather need to listen to our feelings When We Are about to do something. This is a rather simple but profound message, and yet it is not understood by many people. During the last hundred years to thousends of we have unlearned this capability Because We thought it to be hindering our development. We rather developed any of solely relied on mind and ratio, Forgetting That We Are Social and emotional beings - but not just we are - every living being too is.

The female aspect in any of us has been supressed to a large extent over the last thousends of years what led to an all-male dominated world where females are silent subject of slight to harsh supression in * any * Society. This mindset Brought us a great Technological Development, so but Brought us several times close to the edge of extinction, and now has become a severe threat not just to our own existence, but to all our fellow mates in the animal world too. The author Relates the mind / ratio vs. intuition / emotion to the male vs. female aspects of all beings and reminds us of the necessity to bring Both aspects in balance and That it's about time to finally restore it.

In the other parts she Provides glimpses into her work as shaman, but the message is not about her but about us. The message Is that we need to remember what we really are and remember the real purpose of our life. This certainly is the most polarizing aspect of this book, since you know what Either she is talking about or are tempted to just outright refuse the ideas presented as humbug. But this is not the failure of the messenger, it is mere a matter of our own vantage point. Some ideas just do not reflect our very narrow worldly experience - yet They are old wisdom wellknown by the few survivors living today of ancient cultures.

The main message of the book is a rather simple one: "Listen to your heart" before you do anything. And whoever is blaming "Little Grandmother" for sharing this message needs to go deep inside him / herself to find the reason why this message is not resonating with him or her.
