Good book actually focused on the everyday world, material and mental European fighters. The introduction marks the difference with the prospects of Rousseau Becker Audoin-Rouzeau of the motivations of the combatants to hold, what they think of their command. The PTSD combat-related evoked very well through the quarrels of psychiatrists; intimate spheres are too. Grosso modo, we find stories of a panel of anonymous or famous fighters (Apollinaire, Jünger, Rommel, Mussolini ...). Reading the book is sometimes difficult as we go from one witness to another without sufficient markers.
