The high game of the five games is unquestionable and to nothing need be said. What me is pretty ankratzt the total allocation of the individual games for which I would like to address in more detail here.
Part I: Arena:
Here the biggest mistake there because you have packed the old 3.5 floppy disk version on the disc and not the enhanced CD version which has appeared a little later. This floppy disk version You can also submit free of Bethesda download the CD version would be purchased otherwise.
As far as I could but notice that the game is after all pre-patched to the latest version.
Part II: Daggerfall
The second part comes in the original Version 1.0 and therefore offers no extras!
Thus, you have to look where to get the CompUSA expansion and later patch the game to version 1.07.213 which is incidentally a bit more complicated than just to start an application and a couple of times to click OK itself.
Part III: Morrowind:
Here one has already done something better job. Depending on which of the two great add-ons to install (which on its own each disc are enabled) the game is always the latest version so that no matter how you install it, no additional -offiziellen- patching requires it. Tribunal and Bloodmoon are included, however, as already mentioned with missing all the little add-ons such as Master Index, Siege at Firemoth, Helm of Tohan etc.
Up to this point which also enthaltene- Steam version is identical to the disk version. But on the disks is also the Construction Set with this and also located on the 2nd disc Complete Morrowind texture and model collection in unpacked form. The same is there even the Tribunal and Bloodmoon on the respective disks
Part IV Oblivion:
There is less to say about this part. The game is going in the current version and requires no official patch. The Knights of the Nine and the Shivering Isles can be installed on the second disc. The Construction Set for Oblivion is entirely absent.
Unfortunately missing also similar to Morrowind the 8 smaller add-ons like thieves nest or the planetary model. That's really weak.
Surprisingly, these 8 DLCs included in the Steam.
Part V Skyrim:
In Skyrim everything should be clear but I say it anyway again: The DVD is to accelerate basically just for decoration with this and to complete the installation. Everything else runs completely on Steam. The three add-ons Dawnguarde, Hearthfire and Dragonborn are also unlocked and the Creation Kit can also be downloadable from Steam.
Also: all 5 games have their respective guide on the 1st disc of each game in PDF format here
My conclusion to equip the Games:
Especially when part 1 + 2 one has ever given up times as no effort in Morrowind and Oblivion missing the no add-ons which are for me a complete collection of home games to do so. While Oblivion DLC are all in the Steam version of this but I would rather have on an original disc by the manufacturer and not be reliant on Steam or collect my missing stuff themselves together.
Skyrim is equal to times completely dependent on the Steam does not fit me really well but of this game there is, unfortunately, not always DRM free version (at least not for the PC).
All in all a mediocre equipment and deserved none of the predicate path The ultimate collection especially considering the times who you would even missing several whole game to be truly complete
For the packaging: This looks very chic and looks classy. However, one could I better take Kunstsoff for DVD holders have there also really worry that I scratch the disc or the the bracket wears out quickly.
The extras are also something mau hmm 5 cards that would in itself is not the problem if the cards also have the same quality as that of the individual games.
I hope that this is my review good and understandable again mirror.
