Because I believe that many of the negative reviews on Amazon are based here on a false conducted basic setting / initial installation, attached nor the instructions for initial operation:
Adjusting the sensitivity:
- Insert the plug of the power strip into a socket with 230V. Connect the main box (master) the device to, by which you want to turn on the other equipment.
- Turn the screw counter-clockwise until it stops (insensitive). Turn on the main switch. The red light in the switch should light up. Turn off the master device or go into standby mode if desired. Now the indicator light must be off (slave).
- Switch on the master device. Now the indicator light still needs to be made.
- Turn with a screwdriver the adjusting screw clockwise slowly to the right until the indicator light is displayed. In this state, the slave sockets are live. The devices connected to them are now supplied with power.
- To check, turn off the master device or go into stand-by mode. The slave control lamp should be off again. If not, repeat tuning.
