First one must say that it is a distributed exclusively in Germany in the version Plus N variant. After the patent dispute with Apple because of the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus (GT-P6200) Samsung had to be Tablet redesign and named it Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus N (GT-P6201). Disadvantage of this: There is rather little support in terms of Costum firmwares Modding etc pp. So much for history.
Basically, however, I was fully satisfied from the outset. The tab does what it should. PC Connection works smoothly (only the supplied software "GRAVEL" is not the hammer, plus there is but alternatives such as "MyPhoneExplorer"). Syncs with all popular software such as Outlook thanks to an adequate offer in-app PlayStore without any complaints. Internet pages are displayed properly, even with Flash support (unlike iPad, iPhone & Co). What players will disturb however: The games from Gameloft are not displayed in PlayStore. Even long ago do not work all, if you installed manually (eg directly from the Gameloft website).
A tip from me: Recently an update has been released on Android 4.0.4, but the GT-P6200. This update can also manually import the GT-P6201. If so someone can not decide between Galaxy Tab 2 and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus N, now probably is obvious that the more powerful processor and lower price of the Plus N should be auschlaggebendes selling point.
Recently some quick pros and cons:
+ Mobility thanks to small size (7 inches)
+ Clean processing
+ Memory expandable up to 64GB via micro SD (tried've even, so is more possible than 32GB more)
+ After updating to Android 4.0.4 buttery smooth operation
+ Photos are tidy, despite "only" 3.2 megapixel camera
+ Bottom hard plastic, thus absolutely scratchproof
- Auto brightness of the display is too dark, but can abstellenen
- No "official" update to Android 4, thus only possible via detours
- Supplied Charger for me personally to get short (1 meter)
- No USB Slot for example USB sticks (only by not contained in the delivery adapter possible, but then stands at the bottom of this out)
- No HDMI output (via adapter even feasible)
Conclusion: The above counterpoints are bleating at a high level. On the whole, I am completely satisfied with the Tablet. Solely Samsung's update policy has prompted me to deduct a star. If it creates the German support to bring Updates times faster to the user (such as, for example, the Samsung-Canadians), the competition could wrap up.
