5) an extra day it happened again, this time the button did not respond, no light, as if the battery was empty. Here I have taken out and measured by the batteries, everything ok, battery back in, and this time the LED came on. 6) no longer responded the app, press the button, the LED flashes ("breathing") and nothing. On renewing the application once I had no desire, this time I wanted to find an alternative and found out the following: Turn off Bluetooth on the phone, exit app (with the Task Manager), blood pressure monitor off (3sec long until LED off) then Bluetooth on the mobile phone a , wait few seconds, start app, and wait again few seconds and then turn on the meter, only then came the operating window for the measurement.
The device is switched off by the app (by closing the dialogue), if one device on the off button pressed longer you get an error message on the App displayed.

I also have the balance of Withings, even here there are serious problems with Bluetooth on Android. I use it on Samsung Galaxy S2 with Android 4.1.2.
