I bought this product as a media player with support XBMC.
The manufacturer pays 2 XBMC developers full-time, therefore this product also has the best support.

I pull off a point because as at the end of January 2013 playing an HD transmitter to the tvHeadend client is not working, SD is no problem
Playback of HD material in MKV container works.
I expect the work to play in later versions, currently is the XBMC for Android still in BETA Statdium
