I use the software in version 12 Pro for MAC since December 2012, and am not thrilled.
In principle, the most necessary functions are available, but are missing in several places important details that a simplified accounting or data entry entscheident.
- Detection of Transfers from one account to another are inconvenient, you can not enter the destination account with the expenditure category, but must assign awkward via the context menu changes and then the target account.
- Automatic Ausfüllergänzung in recipients lacking.
- Many Funtkionen can not be found easily and require the manual search. This increases the learning curve a lot and is a software for the MAC a real MINUS.
- The menu items contain very few functions and are not adjusted to reflect the function selection.
- It has not bothered to deliver an integrated system to help. Rather, there are only a manual (pdf) and a glossary (pdf).
- I have found no Undo function for accidentally deleted bookings.
- Total user interface is in my view not intuitive and seems to me rather dusty.
- I have no way to assign postings manually entered in an online account to a booking from Bank downloads. Manual entries are therefore not helpful in an online account with this program.
- An integrated computer directly into the input fields for amounts I miss.
- For the bookings displayed within an account I miss several display options. Especially with
Split bookings is always displayed everything and a lot of space.
- I have not found a way to group or sort the overview of accounts according to their nature.
- I have found no way to hide an account just because it is no longer active. There are only deleting. Thus, the overview is quickly lost when you have a lot to do with temporary fixed-term deposits.
- The possibility of reservations automatically assign a category is a good thing.
- The input mask for bookings and the buttons on the left side waste a lot of space on the screen. This is absent elsewhere. There is a lack of flexibility to adapt the views.
So it would be very good if the developers time to look around at other providers and be inspired by good ideas and details.
