Anime, Manga, or light novel?

I have all eight, previously home to German published manga volumes, I have the entire 1st season of the anime on the board and I have the first five volumes of the light novel on the shelves, the neighbor also be ordered.
Why I do not know yet the 2nd season of the anime? Very easily! Compared to Manga and the Novel Season 1 is at least just bad.

But back to the beginning:

The story of the handsome harvest goddess Holo and the traveling merchant power Lawrence was originally published by Isuna Hasekura in 17 volumes as a light novel series.
About the story itself, I will not comment here because it was 1) discussed extensively on sites like AniSearch.com, and because of their brilliant characters and the interesting medieval setting is great 2) anyway!
The writing style (English edition) is very cozy, but precise. The dialogues, especially between Holo and Lawrence, are excellent and have properly pepper. However, German-speakers should already bring decent English skills. The text is not very difficult, but should herauszulesen to the charm and wit English are already sitting.
But if ye trusts you will be rewarded with a great book series you.

Why is now the Anime compared to Novel bad?
Well, many of the dialogues were really taken almost 1 to 1 from the books that you have to keep the creators benefit.
Unfortunately, but also some wonderful scenes were either totally excised, or so grottig implemented that I partly did not want to look any further.
The speaker (original Japanese) I found "well", the animations are average at best and the character design has none of the charm of the novel images of Ju Ayakura, or even of the graphically perfect unreacted manganese from Keito Koume.

The manga holds the other hand almost exactly to the smallest details of the original offense and is - as I said - one of the best graphics I been allowed to read.

So!
Who can good English: First Light Novel, then read the manga! Maybe who is watch the anime you then times very boring.
Those who do not may English: read manga! And hope that the books eventually come out in your language. The anime you can also look at, but do not expect more after the manga too.

Conclusion:
The novel series is great and recommended 100%. If you do not want to read the books or can, you bring in any case the Manga.
