Too bad - a bad buy! Anyone who appreciates the cellist Werner Thomas-Mifune, not least as an editor of numerous works for a variety of cello ensembles, who might think, Mr. Thomas-Mifune would have proved with this CD a disservice. What there as "in Europe unique combination of a cellist with five of the most exciting Brazilian musician" is touted, unfortunately is not exciting, but more of a homespun Bemühtheit. All hold back, just do not come together in the way. In the end, then nothing happens. The booklet text rattling instructive by items such as a music lexicon ("... makes the rhythms however much intrikater ..."). And: The sound is lousy! What a pity! Here Werner Thomas-Mifune all outstanding CDs has recorded, for example, with the Philharmonic cellist Cologne (no longer available).
