Since I've heard the first Seeed Tracks I was 100 percent convinced of Seeed. I had all the old songs come off on my Walkman on 24 rotation and am to do so before the songs were compiled on an album in 2005 (New Dubby Conquerrors). Especially me has this chilled out reggae vibe bound and that a couple of guys from Berlin have so hinbekommen a sound has umgehaun me. When then came "Music Monks" I was slightly surprised, because the sound was more than reggae dancehall, but was nevertheless still an ultimatum. At some point I heard of "getting up" and I am looking forward rieseig that Seeed had what brought to the starting line after such a long time again, although not as good as before but still compelling. Suddenly, out of nowhere, then "swing your part" came - TRL Topplatzierung- to me and I was horrified: Rocking your part ????? What had become of the old Seeed? Where were the Reggae Roots, the autochthonous and real lyrics? Instead of the otherwise brilliant lyrical density, a text was entered, which should encourage the masses to buy; and only that! I was hoping that at least 50% of the program from the old songs there, but none: Almost exclusively Next -songs, and what I needed to hear was the horror = I almost gone seriously!. Textual high performance failed to materialize and the sound was more and more 08 / 15mäßig. When I had the album then get paid again by nem friend that it had once belonged and put away after the sixth track, the capital Seeed was then over for me ...
