Rarely has me a CD at the beginning so packed as "Raise a Little Hell" by The Answer. With "Long Live The Renegades" the band lays times going with a real steamroller! What immediately strikes the crisp, but never boring production this longplayer. "The Other Side" takes up the thread and grooves as well as by the Boxen.Der third song "Aristocrat" picks it up again before it gets a little hymn with "Cigarettes & Regrets". This song reminds me of the Gotthard and the "talk box insert" of course something to Peter Frampton ;-) "Last Days of Summer" blaring through the speakers as earthy and exudes beautiful 70s Classic Feeling, just wonderful! A gear is back with "Strange Kind of Nothing". Beautifully orchestrated with acoustic guitar, a not obtrusive bass, restrained drumming and the singer this semi-ballad finished very soulful ... With "I Am What I Am" eggs are shown again. In AC / DC style is rocked here! "Whishplash" pulls the tempo again and gallops so through the speakers, which could advance the inclined listener through the sweat. With "Gone Too Long" you have a nice AOR song packed on the album, which shows that you can rock with feeling. Really nice "snotty" comes No.10 song "Red" and therefore "I Am Cured" starts with a small slide guitar inlay before the midtempo groover takes momentum. "Raise a Little Hell" concludes the album with another neckbreaker , Well done! On the bonus CD to 3 other songs are with "Feel like I'm on my way," Flying and I will follow you ... especially "Flying" sprayed in my opinion a slight Green Day feeling. So who to CD 1 has not yet been enough, can again get the absolute full operation here! The 3 "Unplugged versions" of The Other Side, Gone Too Long and Strange Kinda Nothing is worth listening, but I like them in the "current version" a little better ... Conclusion: Great Classic Rock, crisp production. Here the band creates an album with a high groove factor against which not only makes good fun for me, right ?! ;-)
