We bought this Raclette in November 2011. After the expensive so had their quirks, it should be a decent Raclette this time. Its size and location of the pan is fine. I must say that we found the design very appealing. We now have this Raclette maybe used 6-8 times. We get it usually only in winter at Christmas or New Year's Eve from the packaging. The Raclette has lost its luster after two years. The coating of the grill plate scrolls total (see photo). We have always cleaned carefully and never placed in the dishwasher. Now we have made again Raclette on Friday. The pans now lose their coating and the device had twice dropouts. I do not know how it would look with frequent use. Unfortunately, the warranty has expired and we have to buy a new Raclette again. I have a feeling that we are led consumers only by the nose. I am very upset !!!
