I'm pretty disappointed in the cover. The corners are indeed well protected and the standby and wake-up works well and all functional switches, inputs / outputs, camera lenses, etc. are free. But that was about it. After just a few days use in the house on the table and cabinet (for filing) the back looks totally scratched. As an ancient years used briefcase. The front cover can move back and forth, so I suspect when the tablet is in a pocket, the tablet could be damaged by the shifted front cover. There are 2 different angles, the "Viewing" and the "Typing" position. The "Viewing" position is so weak that the tablet often tip over. And the funniest is says on the box that Samsung is only 3 months warranty, as wear parts ... Conclusion: if you're hoping a similar good protection such as the Kindl with this original cover to obtain will be very disappointed. For the transport I'll probably still need to establish a more protective shell.
