This volume is devoted to Clay sentinel changeling and his childhood friend and neighbor Talin, human. I loved this book, even if it is darker than previous but still very very stunning. A lot of emotion going on in this book, because their common past is terrible and their relationship is very strong. The plot is engrossing and memorable (the killing of children). Lot we advance in the main plot with Protocol I and Psi-net. The small clearance between Talin and Clay is very nice. Their feeling rising crescendo. Aftershocks them are accented with humor and sensuality. The "intimate" scenes are very light but still warm, which I appreciated against certain Bit-series Lit. I appreciate more and more writing Nalini Singh, she quickly captivated his readers, the pace of his books is supported, you never get bored. Looking forward to have hands the next book to be on guard Dorian.
