The Lightning Cable AmazonBasics (or by the manufacturer Monoprice) is very well made and has the space needed for Ios 8 chip to my iPhone to charge 6 Plus can. Charging and synchronization with iTunes running at me from any problems and there appear no news that the accessory is not compatible (eg not Apple MFI certified Lightning cable).
Since the AmazonBasics cable is slightly thicker, you have to look any if it fits despite Cover.

Well packed - everything from cardboard, not plastic!
Slightly thicker, but for me no problem
