arf I had not seen the movie, I read it before seeing it. Frankly, easy to read, even if I found it soft enough for starting. But the plot is original and the way it is written allows a read (well, for me) rather easy. A well-barred universe.
From the film that I saw after I must confess that the book seemed much better because aside certain abuses, one can feel, feel more immersed in the story via the book.
