Previously, I have all pressed with the "Petra Electric FG 20:07 Slow Juicer". Now I wanted to have a vertical screw press, in the hope that this Slow Juicer is not quite as slow. The comparison shows:
+ Pressing faster
+ The pomace is dry
- The cleaning takes longer
- Fibrous material such as ginger, celery has to be cut very small, otherwise clog the smalen pomace outlet at the bottom.
- It needs to be rescreened.
Of the Möhrenstückchen and the applesauce in the juice I was first surprised negatively. These pieces pass through the high pressure applied anyway in the interstices of the small gear that sits below the screen, and be funneled and flushed outward into the juice zone. Since then, I always work with a colander.
Otherwise, I can not complain.
!!! Til today !!!
During the pressing - the pomace output was free, and the apple fibers flowed merrily out - it made loud crack and the screw had a crack. That has probably fatigue etc. be!
The warranty claim is made, and I will report on progress with the manufacturer!
Below the letter:
Dear electronics StarTeam,
I used the supplied on 12/05/2014 Klarstein Fruitpresso Slow Juicer & about once a week and now the pressure worm has gotten a tear while juicing of chopped apples and Seleriestückchen. It seems here to involve fatigue.
I am otherwise very happy with the Slow Juicer and would like a replacement unit.
