First: it's kind of cute when the little stands beside the large. Then the only thing missing, it says MAMA.
Now to the essence:
---------------------
POSITIVE:
The approaches of Saturn's rings are clearly visible. And I had to think of how Galileo said that it looks as if the Saturn 2 Henkel on the side.
The moon is also great to see. Even better than a good pair of binoculars but (logically) not as great as with the Dobson.
To Jupiter and Orion nebula, I can say anything yet.
With an appropriate sun-FILTER FOIL (!!!) you can also see the sunspots very nice. And what surprised me even, the sunspot is not only seen as a stain, but also the differences in brightness between Umbra Penumbra un.
NEGATIVE:
The mitgeliferten lenses etc. are (of course, what could you ask for at this price?) Inferior.
Although I but fair to add that I could not get much more out of my higher-quality lenses from the small "mini-Dobson"!
But clear downside are the reverse lens and Barlow. If the image you will use a drastically inferior. The two should be withheld from beginners because they would quickly lose the pleasure in astronomy otherwise.
NEUTRAL / INFOMATIV:
The manufacturer has thought itself: more is better.
Why were supplied the 4mm lens (apart from the not-to-use reversing lens and Barlow) also. All three would have been able to save. Although it is advertised that you can zoom in up to 150. Yes can already, but no, it makes no sense! For the max. practical power in the telescope happens to be 107 times. Anything after that is just blurred or unrecognizable dark.
The 4mm lens is still in the area where the enlargement still makes sense, but the field of view is so low that a permanent monitoring is excluded.
The telescope has no viewfinder! I myself was not aware of. Without viewfinder you have the sun and moon barely problem of detecting such, but with Saturn and other objects, which was already difficult. Where a genuine interested stargazers without the problems "at-practice" is.
CONCLUSION:
Even though I have a lot of bitching is the telescope very interesting especially for beginners. Advanced will have to put a lot of doubt, but to bridge until you get back to the right telescope is a very cost-effective alternative!
BUT: my personal opinion should be left outside with beginners the Barlow lens and relay lens once before!
- My tip: For beginners suitable. Beginners should be accompanied and please get assistance.
IMPORTANT:
I want to stress once again that we must never see directly at the sun with the telescope (as well as other)!
There are special solar filter!
Not that a beginner gets the idea: Na who has written in his review, he would have seen the sun ...
Pro / Contra Summary
--------------------------
To see + Saturn sufficient
+ Light and small
To see + Moon very good
+ With sun FILTER !!! can be well observed sunspots
Very suitable for beginners + (as cheap)
Useless Barlow lens and relay lens (almost) -
- 4mm lens to small field of view, for extended observations
