The gameplay

The gameplay is based on the solving of riddles of various kinds. These are provided to you by the game characters. The game is structured somewhat like a point-and-click adventure. One click from one screen to another. If you click through the area you can find more hidden puzzles and collect coins so as curiosities. The meaning of the curiosities I have not herrausbekommen, but in the game you can collect them.
For each task there is Picarats Knobel. If you answer a question wrong so we can try to solve it again, but gets less Picarats. If you need help you can 4 notes with the collected coins purchase.
From some pawns they even give you a little gift, which brings me to the next point: the additional puzzles. There are three additional brain teasers in the menu. Firstly, you have to present the right way of a locomotive. Second, you have to let einsameln aquarium fish by air bubbles all the coins. Each level you get from the residents. At the third mini-game you can see a play and must zuflüsstern the right words at the right places the figures. These words also be switched freely only gradually in the game.
To all this, the story weaves around Professor Layton and the Phantom.

My Review

The puzzles seem to me something just as in recent games, which I found pleasant. In the last part (the Lost Future) I arrived at a place just not what my game clouded. This was not the case here. Also I had enough coins to buy to me in an emergency tips. Some puzzles the task was a bit ambiguous, but they were all solved. The additional puzzles I really liked. During the game there were additional episodes that small stories told around the action. I would have liked that this would have been animated.
The story gave me the best so far fallen from all games. Especially the end. But more I will not betray them. I thought it was just as well that I had no idea until the end, as it would turn out.
The individual intermediate scenes are animated partly very lovingly. I would have liked more of it.
My season was around 14 hours, however, it is then far from finished. One can by the end of the game even for more little mini-games in the city and solve puzzles.
All in all this game is its predecessors in my eyes nothing after.
In other reviews could be reading this probably still a part of the game is missing, which was released in Japan, however. Of that I do not really know anything and there but I am with the game otherwise satisfied, it helps in my evaluation in the negative.
Confusing I find only the order in which the Laytonspiele appear. Time this part is even to the previously published classified to, the Layton Luke only Acquaintance here, but this in the other games is already an integral part.
It remains to be mentioned that you really need to read in this game a lot, if you are also interested in the action and not just for the puzzles. For reading muffle the game is rather ncihts.

Conclusion

I do not regret the purchase and would recommend it to others the game. If you do not already have Laytonteil I would advise this to start. I personally am looking forward to the fifth part.
