The operation is actually far as possible self-explanatory, and the manual is clearly structured, but still missing an indication of when the battery has reached what charge level. (On the camera body, a green LED will flash and it apparently goes out when battery is full ...)
The batteries can be loaded only in the camera without any accessories. Good: There are 2 batteries! In any case, the accessory pack is filled sufficiently luxuriant: bag, belt, required cables, lens cap, battery charger, 4GB SDHC Card, and even the right editing software will be! To the already very favorable price offers m. E. any other manufacturer.
What at first is something that bothers me that the Verwacklungsautomatik, after! Each! Turning the camera automatically deactivated and re-activation is annoying awkward. After all, the camera is not intended for the professional!
Otherwise, the camera stops but the personal settings completely on. Since one can expect generally at Medion little to no care product, this should be 'taken into account, because it will certainly not be a firmware update. My experiences with Medion devices has sufficient me that unfortunately taught, which is a shame, because the devices behind foreign manufacturers are often with significantly better support.
In the handling and the results, I can not say anything really specific, because I own only since 3 days. Here I will post as soon as I have the first photo of Technology results.
What I can summarize so far:
+ Fair price with rich accessories, ME unbeatable Bridgecamera- segment.
+ 2nd battery is
+ Good operability even for the novice and the "snap shooter", yet better equipment and more opportunities compared to compact cameras. (Panorama-Progr., Div filter, 35x optical zoom! ...)
+ Image quality with photographic function
+ Reasonable foldout Blitz
+ On Body: quality workmanship. Nix rattles, shakes. The tripod mount is made of metal.
-----------------
- Camera loses setting "jitter compensation" after each turn.
- Lens cover unloving, rattling & shaking (just like Fuji)
- Batteries are to be loaded in your camera. Then the camera is blocked!
