As good as expected! 1

The new M277dw from the LaserJet Pro 200 series of HP, with its 42 cm wide, 41.7 cm deeper and just 32.2 cm height a fairly compact 4 is substantially smaller in 1 laser multifunction device, and at least in height than its predecessor M276nw.

I have now employs almost half a day intensively with the device and am really pleased with it and would like to describe my impressions and the key features of the device.

Look and feel:
Visually I like this white version extraordinarily well. The effect is not only visually really high. The build quality I guess also a dibasic. Definitely makes a very good impression.

Installation and function:
No problem to install the software under Windows 8.1 was possible. One should, however, choose the Custom install, otherwise you installed the Microsoft Bing Bar with!

The touch screen responds properly. More pressure on the display as for example the smartphone is however necessary.

You can store not only its scans on a USB flash drive from the USB host, you can print as .ppt or .doc from USB flash drive and Office documents. Direct scans also can be stored in a network folder. If I read it correctly, it should be possible via USB stick even firmware upgrades for the printer through the USB interface.

Interesting, especially for small businesses, I find the way through the USB host via Mac saved 'print jobs' print, which can even be protected by PIN. Only after the input of the PIN using the touch screen so the printing is performed.

A direct pressure eg from your smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi is also possible without network integration of the printer.

A network integration is possible via network connection or via WLAN with manual WLAN key input via software or via the display input to the device manually or via WPS.

Very good, I like the 'Slow-close lid' function of the scanner lid. To compare with a soft close. This takes up the last part of the closing process.

Print / Scan:
After switching on (power-up), it takes time about 20-25 seconds until you can perform printing or other function.

The AIO prints really fast and pretty quiet for my taste. Lt. Manufacturer information creates the M277dw up to 18 pages (black and color), the minute (5% coverage).
The scanner also works at a pleasant volume. The printing and scanning are audible, but as already written absolutely in the context!

Documents it prints in a very good quality. A picture can be proud even if this kind of expression, of course, absolutely can not compare with a good inkjet printer (my reference is the Canon MG7150).

Printing is very reliable both from the PC and from your smartphone. A jam I could not 'generate' to date.

The M277dw is filled with the toners of 201A or X series.

I have same or do not know any reliable method to the being able to see exactly the value is only used as a rough guide!

There is it of the follow-up costs quite expensive models, such as Samsung. This is really my only negative criticism! However, I will with my printing behavior, with one (1) new set / year get there thick, so at least for me personally (!) My Conclusion:
Great, compact laser multifunction device. Many functions (which I do not need any), good print quality and very neat installation. Certainly not suitable for mass printing but ideal for occasional printing. Longer 'switch-off' place as with any laser printer is no problem, since nothing can dry. Absolutely weiterempfehlbar!
