The envelope arrived well and safely packed in a very short time with me on.
When unpacking it seemed to me then but again very small, especially in height. Especially, if you would like to leave both protective caps on the lens when it stowed in the hull.
But to my surprise, the boundless shell fits properly yet.
I have placed the lens with two caps in it. The height is not a problem as the shell fits like a glove. The lens is stuck in it, has no game. Also the diameter ago is virtually no space. You have to pull to get a little material between two fingers. The lens moves in the envelope a millimeter.
The fabric feels stable and gives an ordinary padding. Visually, the sleeve black and slightly shiny therefore simply comes. I like that. It is a use Gege status since it may be simple and practical.
I especially like the closure. The loop is a real loop, not bolted on. On the cover is the plastic loop. At the lower part of the envelope is the tape. It is preferred through the loop, it works over and fixed it with Velcro. In addition, there is a hook and loop fastener inside of the lid. I feel this closure as a very safe and reliable. That the envelope simply flips open so times, I do not or have not yet experienced.
On the back of the envelope there is a loop with a carabiner to attach it to a backpack or to a belt loop. From some bad experiences with these carbines I do not use this feature.
Conclusion: Finally, the fumble is over. The cover fits perfectly for the SEL 55210 Lens (with two protective caps!) It firmly and securely seated therein. The padding is good and the closure makes a safe impression. Visually, the cover is rather simple, which I like.
