I was looking for a camera for my "small" Mac (a Mac Mini G4 with 1.42 GHz, OS Leopard 10.5.1). "To the extent" but means that the usage has been limited, at least here on Skype. Since MacOS but support the UVC standard for driverless operation of webcams since 10.4.3 (?), I was looking. This search has been completed with the Hama Crystal. On the HAMA pages you will find a detailed product description on the UVC compatibility was promised. That was only the talk of Windows operating systems in this context, should not be put on. The camera is recognized by the Mac easily and integrated (the System Profiler reports a Saturn USB 2.0 Camera). The camera delivers to manual focus a satisfactory anyway for video calling image.
