The author knows about nutrition, no doubt about it. It is not apparent to him that we clichés, on the contrary: it is at the forefront of the latest research, familiarizes us with important concepts (but still too little known as the glycemic index, the acid-base balance, etc.). The downside in my opinion is that the book would have benefited from more cross. Because reading it, one may be a little lost: on one side, for example, do not overemphasize the carbs, but on the other, we are told, they are indispensable. Until then, we totally agree, but how to put it into practice? Or the book speaks of vegetarianism and shows, photo support, you can practice weight training while being vegetarian ... Okay, and that's a very good point for the book, but in practice, how we doing? "Eat lentils, chickpeas, cheese", we are responding; yes, but by following these tips, you will fail to apply some other advice given several pages before ... A good book anyway.
