The second part of the new radio play Fallot can maintain the high quality of the first part effortlessly and maintains the listener long over an hour with new adventures of the Star Wars universe, almost seamlessly adjoin the films of George Lucas. In this episode there is also a re-hearing with two other old friends from the first trilogy: Lando Calrissian and Wedge Antilles. In addition, Leia Organa Solo will always continue to be trained by her brother Luke Skywalker to Jedi, while Han Solo and Chewbacca genuine effort to consolidate the new republic. All this of course leads to an irrevocable development of recognizable characters that act in the radio plays a little more seriously and set, as in the movies. This is the figures, however, very good and makes the present radio play only more interesting and worth listening. Grand Admiral Thrawn, Master C'baoth and Captain Pellaeon are nestled in the Star Wars universe and are already old acquaintances, whom one at least as fun to listen to as the heroes from the movies. C'baoth example is terrific played by the radio play Legend Jürgen Thormann, the film fans will know best as a voice of Michael Caine, an actor, which one would guess the role of C'baoth readily. Frank Glaubrecht is again heard as Lando Calrissian, while Wedge Antilles is this time played by Bernd Vollbrecht. Unfortunately Wolfgang Grapefruit is as Han Solo obviously still a little rusty, but in some scenes already flashed back the old charm of the former smuggler on. Joachim Tennstedt, however it is again succeeded in the protocol droid C-3PO just naively witty display like in the movies. Only the self-talk of Luke Skywalker tarnish the good overall impression slightly, and meant are not the dialogs with R2D2. Grand Admiral Thrawn takes this time a little harder at the way his subordinates and by proving that he is after all a loyal officer of the Empire. The sounds are unmistakable borrowed the film databases, as well as the soundtrack of John Williams. No expense has been spared halt in the second series of Heir to the Empire. A must for all Star Wars fans.
