ATP vs No 1

ATP vs No 1

Head ATP Tennis Balls 4er Metalldose 570304 (equipment)

Customer Review

Tennis balls were made over the years with ever poorer quality. Quite contrary to the bats or the impressive string technology (Polyester / Nylon).
Games H40 league and there is the No 1 of the official match ball. Games at the moment a tournament in which the ATP is used.
Both have a lot of pressure and playing in the first 6-8 games largely identical. In warm weather, the No 1 is somewhat fluttery, jumping uncontrollably racket and is difficult to palzieren. After further use then occur but striking differences to light:
- The No. 1 begins clearly fraying. I think this is worse than loss of pressure, because it affects the aerodynamic characteristics of the ball extremely disadvantageous. The Balll now seems to stand still in the air and slows totally off.
- After playing 1 times good for the No 1 most yet for the ball machine, but also where he very quickly loses its fur.

The ATP can be easily controlled and fray that adheres even after 2 sets still limited - that's ok. The pressure is good from the very beginning and also does not lose.

Conclusion: The No 1 is absolutely considered a debacle and the price-performance ratio to say the least an impertinence. The ATP, however, makes all around a good picture and appear attractive due to the more favorable price.
