Attach heavy, much too strong for light striking door

I live in a rented apartment in the almost all the doors on either, or fall. In the bathroom, the door closer should be used so that the door is definitely when aired after showering.
The installation was possible but was very difficult. Although the spring is "just" plugged, which has certainly lasted 5 minutes.
Result: The door opens to ... with a bang! My, alsauch the ears of the neighbors it was not reasonable.
I've taken back the same day the door closer. This slight scratches on the door Angel have remained. The rubber caps would have been certainly pierced in a few months.

Conclusion:
- High price
- Does what it is supposed
- After just one day too annoying
