5 stars for image quality at 4K display when it because at some point gets up and running by 1000 Tricks (see below)
0 stars for the developers of Panasonic, throwing an incredible bluff package on the market with the TX-48AXW634.
So that makes an average 3 star overall.
Why sham?
Quite simply, the TX-48AXW634 is a 4K UHD TV, with which you (almost) no UHD can use 4K actually.
When I scan the other 4 and 5 star reviews here that none of the owners has apparently yet noticed what may well be the missing 4K offer.
I bought equipment yesterday (not via Amazon) and although the first impression is very good with HD material, the nasty surprise 2K and 4K came when attempting the first time footage via attached USB HDD, Internet connection (WLAN) or Media Server (WLAN) play.
I not believe my eyes, the TX-48AXW634 reports but actually in a message box that the resolution is not supported.
Hääähhhh?
So checked instructions and packaging boards, is it anywhere 4K Ultra HD.
So what's going on, about faulty equipment?
So Google scours and I believed it until not, under [...] I find under # 26 but actually the following:

Unquote.
Unbelievable.
A 4K TV, with which you can virtually start little with regard to coming 4K offers.
And nowhere is it was to read at Panasonic or on the info signs the dealer where I bought it, a single word.
Something called probably a sham or Panasonic vera **** here its customers properly.
At the moment I'm still trying, if I ev. Via streaming and media server functions of PSP3 which I have now times connected for test purposes via HDMI to the Port 1 (instead of the cable 1 HD Box), still 4K content from Amazon, Netflix get or external sources to the TX.
Maybe that works as a workaround, then the TX would have a good TV, but just neutered 4K technology.
Update:
*******
Trying via PSP3 went wrong because the PSP3 processed anything about normal Full HD addition, neither by media streaming (Internet, PC) nor on DVD / Blu Ray over 2k or 4k spieltes footage (.mp4), etc.
Only a new, not currently available PSP hardware (rumored to ev. PSP4 the autumn '15) 4K content will be able to process.
Likewise, one fails with normal media servers like the Fritz! Box Media Server own. Again, the TX report stubbornly the 4K format is unknown to him.
But when I wanted to throw in the towel in frustration, I still managed with the software PS3 Media Server but a successful transmission and presentation of 4k (.mp4) data from your PC via home network (Fritz! Box) on the TX-48AXW634.
Funnily enough, that is recognized by the Internal Media Server (not the Media Player, but the media server) of the TX-48AXW634 the PS3 Media Server service on the PC (and this the TX) and then streams at least some of 4K videos actually clean the TV screen and lo and behold, Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, what kind of quality.
A super image.
Therefore, the 5 star for this aspect of the TX-48AXW634 (see above)
More painful and annoying, therefore, is that Panasonic's developer downgrade here is a basic top device harebrained enough, in the 4K connectivity such that it is virtually unusable or can be brought only with considerable tricks in terms of 4K to run.
It currently works with me a non-HDMI 4K transmission only on the PS3 Media Server software.
Otherwise, the TX makes everything.
This proves, however, probably the other hand, that the principle TX 4K hardware through its Media Server and software technology very well successfully stream MAY, Panasonic this internally but apparently intentionally BLOCKS.
A real joke!
Therefore, 0 stars for Panasonic's developer / marketing.
In addition to the trick with the PS3 Media Server streaming can then future probably only hope and try using other future external 4K-capable hardware (ie Internet 4K streaming boxes, a 4K-capable PSP or X-Box) via the 3 HDMI connectors hopefully successful shoveling 4K movies on the TX-48AXW634 over.
Likewise, you need an external 4K AV receiver, which then transmits the data stream via HDMI cable for TX-48AXW634 for future 4K TV.
Oh, 3D 4K is the TX-48AXW634 lt.einem hidden sentence in the manual in terms of hardware but never can, all tricks defiance.
Update:
*******
Given the otherwise excellent 4K and HD picture quality and presentation and its very reasonable purchase price (not via Amazon) I will keep the device and equip it for a Orbsmart S82 box from.
Because really good 4K TV's are still either really expensive or only announced but not yet available, the upgrade is worthwhile in the Orbsmart S82 as an external player device 4K material from the Internet or own GoPro 4K material.
