Attention Mac!

Have bought this card for my Mac Pro 2009, on the one hand because I wanted to use an SSD with full SATA3, and secondly because I have the 4 hard drive bays already filled.
In the customer questions writes an Asian vendor that comes a corresponding adapter cable for the power supply. This was not the case with Avides! The card requires a SATA power supply to run, unfortunately I have not found the net no adapter PCIe Power OUT to SATA Power IN, only the other way around .. (the Mac Pro has only PCIe power connectors ..) - Here I possibly going to another need to build their own, while I'm just an additional ATX power supply are on the Mac Pro, whose SATA cable through a free PCI port comes into housing. Is not the best solution, but it works. (The extra power supply I have shorted to a wire, so it automatically starts when I turn the power strip for Mac) Become the day to hand in a customer photo.
If you look away from the problem with the power supply, the card is working properly. I have it installed a Crucial M50, installation of Yosemite was no problem at all, the card has been detected immediately and could be formatted on the disk utility on the boot USB flash drive easily.
The additional SATA connector on the card I have not (yet) tried.

If someone knows a desired adapter, then I would be grateful for your comments! :-)
