On my board you had to solder the pin strips yet. I find but not bad at all, since you may have very little space in a casing and do not want. Unfortunately, I had first to be programmed with MAC OS issues the board. The transfer always broke with the message: avrdude: stk500_recv (): programmer is not responding from. The problem is not mitliefert the Arduino board but the drivers for the FTDI USB serial chip the Apple OSX in here. You have to swap this against the driver of the chip manufacturer. Then everything goes wonderfully. For this you have to enter the following in Terminal: cd /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns sudo mv AppleUSBFTDI.kext AppleUSBFTDI.disabled sudo touch / System / Library / Extensions Restart now. And then install the drivers from the following page: [...] Then it's alright ;-)
