Audible but well ...

Also, I had no desire to wait for the free DVD Action (especially since I have not found the choice of selectable HD DVDs of the US action intoxicating ...), so I finally ordered my HD-DVD drive ,

The installation is very simple: Insert the enclosed CD in the XBox360, connect power cable to the HD-drive, then a good piece, via the included USB cable, with the XBox360, ... it is installed ... and you can already HD DVDs enjoy ...

I am absolutely delighted with the HD DVD features and quality. Razor-sharp images without image Störungn, artifacts, etc., even on my 42 "LCD TV.

The volume of the HD DVD drive is, as already described in other reviews, a matter of taste. You can hear the fan logically the XBox and the drive noise of the player (which is really vehement quieter than the XBox360 drive!).
I personally do not mind, even if it is quiet to hear in quiet movie scenes, ...
Fact: For the price you get far otherwise no HD DVD player ...
