This mattress is made of the same material as disposable charlottes we put in hospitals. So no worries for occasional use but for a mattress pad used daily, really limited and too easily torn. Also, my mattress is a little thicker than standard models but the mattress is so small that you can not stretch enough to cover the mattress. I'll use only for my extra bed and not to the cradle ...
