The iPhone 6 - Apple's newest flagship?

Today I am writing about the new and current iPhone 6 Apple, that I have received a VVL (contract extension) in the 64GB version and Space Grey.

My review draws comparisons from my previous iPhone, the 5 Series model. (Not 5s)

Quick delivered from my mobile provider, I could take a good piece on time on 09.19.2014 in reception and test directly.
When put directly next to each other falls a course immediately on that the iPhone has become larger and a bit wider.

My iPhone 5 (4 inches) has a height of 123.8 mm, a width of 58.6 mm and a depth of 7.6 mm at a weight of 112 g.
The iPhone 6 (4.7 inches) has a height of 138.1 mm, a width of 67.0 mm and a depth of 6.9 mm with a weight of 129g.

In short, the iPhone has become a little heavier, but is thinner and has only grown in size!

The size itself of the new iPhone 6 I feel just as at last "perfect" - the size of the 5 Series was good, only 4.7 "I feel personally than perfect size - greater should that not be why my choice on the 6 and not fell 6+.

The smartphone itself has also changed noticeably!
So the "Power" button on the top right has moved to the right side, what allows one-handed operation with the index finger (left-handed) or thumb (for right-handed), this had to be, because the Power button at the top one-handed operation would rule for many due to the fact how bad you would have to contort your hands.

Furthermore, the volume and VOLUME DOWN button on the left from the smartphone no round "buttons" more, but elongated, paddles are similar keys, which have a good tactile feedback and are comfortable to use - the existing buttons have also never liked me personally - meaningful change!
However, the most obvious change is the fact that the edges are all rounded and was now trying to create a seamless transition from glass and housing, which has been implemented well, but not perfect (you feel a small edge)

The back of the smartphone has also changed, so you can see where the two strokes the contours in the 5er then formed the transition between housing and glass and were not visible. Some do not like this, but if you missed his cell phone a shell, this is not tragic - is halt ne matter of taste!

The display itself when phone is terrific! With 1334 x 750 pixels at 326 ppi and a contrast ratio of 1400: 1 is the "Retina HD display" back fully what it has on it. Everything is sharp and crisp to recognize, even if the smartphone from the side of view you can still almost everything perfectly recognize!

The camera itself has not been improved by the megapixels - a pity! Apple has but his "new 8-megapixel iSight camera with 1.5 μ pixels" installed is to stand out with a new "autofocus with Focus pixel", the test itself faces were better detected, the images had more saturated colors and looked nice - only tested at dark situations the iPhone still can not convince the recordings are much too exposed and not look as great.
The video recording is to continue with 1080p HD possible, but now also with 60 fps (frames per second) instead of the previous 30 bps. In the new "slow mode", the new 6er even hold 240 frames per second instead of 120 pictures (optional of course!).

The speed of iPhone 5 on the iPhone 6 is palpable, the new iPhone will boot faster and can be operated even more fluid - at some point, however, it is no longer faster with the operation, I'm curious when that will be the case. All apps can but start liquid and also surfing the net is easy to do.
Was built here by Apple, the new A8 chip with 64-bit architecture and a M8 motion coprocessor, in the previous A7 was installed.

Now, however, has the point of the mobile cost the 5th star, the battery.
It's a pity, but the iPhone 6 stops just slightly longer by, than the iPhone 5. I myself am a greater enemy of the battery installed, the Apple, because I like to wish me a cell phone, which is only one or two times a week load needs, but until we get there, there are still tens of other mobile phones.
In my tests, a battery held from 08:00 clock in the morning until 22:40 "good" when used with chatting, surfing, listening to music, few phone calls and a video and a few photos.
Throughout the day you come anyway passable so, unfortunately, the device must if you use it more still daily at the outlet. Too bad!

My conclusion to the new Iphone 6:
It's a solid new smartphone features a very noticeable performance boost and comes with the "new" iPhone design, upgrading from iPhone 5 to 6 is not really necessary, but not wrong. Older models could seriously take the plunge into consideration, mainly because of the change in size.

For IOS 8 I will not write anything, because this operating system though comes with the iPhone 6, but can also be loaded on older devices and can be tested, it therefore does not belong in principle to review the phone.
