AVM Software banana matures (as always) at the customer

The 1000E manages rarely, sometimes go through one day. Eventually the Powerline button is blinking (green!) And everything depends behind it is unreachable, no LAN or WLAN via connected Powerline 1000E (the second from the pack) or Powerline 546E and no switching of the outlets of the 546E. All inactive .... (and the Powerline 1000E is NOT running in the optional "Green Mode", but behaves somehow as if he wanted to save electricity).

As inclined Freud ripened AVM products you now know that you must wait 6-9 months (or must) up to the whole thing works. Until then there will be the 1000E probably with integrated socket. So expand part again, devolo dLAN 500 plug it in again and everything works again reliably (also 546E behind the Devolo). The 1000E is of course returned to sender.

The software in version 2.0 (as must then probably been traveling 1.0 be ??) is therefore significantly improved!

Too bad .... it is hoped but time and again (against the advice of other reviewers and their own painful experiences with other AVM products) that AVM please finally bring it but, finally creates a functioning startup device on the market.

That AVM did not make it to today, the control software for the Powerline network sometimes for MAC to port (IOS and OSX are for AVM somehow red cloths) or WEB unfortunately make application available also shows that you have loved at rumfrickelt firmware and there also provides additional features, but the user and usability like to lose sight of times.

About the surface of the Fritz Box 7490 you get some information about the 1000E modules and may also be a few configurations to make (more devices integrate) - a beautiful network overview as the Devolo Cockpit (there is also MACs) unfortunately lacks - the Devolo Cockpit software only supports any settings for AVM devices.

Oh, and along the way: the speed gain compared to the combination of Devolo dLAN 500 and AVM 520E is at least in my power cabling = NULL. but that is incidental to, if the part and certainly not running endurance.
