Both matured act once such botched Team Player Take That group finally have a common musical basis found and it's fun to listen to the song in the car. Good voice, good guitar in the background ..... a seemingly romantic ballad. And - what I find astonishing - not always you know right away that Solo now Robbie and Gary sings solo that.
But "Shame" is anything but just a shallow ballad. Gary and Robbie settle with the past when they had to exist together on stage - and Robbie always stood in the shadow of Gary. In song she clean up, ask yourself honestly the questions why it had to come so far, and this dialogue combined with the gentle background music .... Good mood.
Contrary to other opinions here on the net I do not think that this is a typical Williams song, but rather a common concoction by Gary & Robbie. Both are wonderful presence and refreshingly different from the former teen time.
And it quickly becomes clear that basically the remaining three Take That's (whose name one does not always familiar are) now the shadows are deadlines in five composite. At least as long as Robbie "Bock" has at his old troop.
Well - Back for Good .... that we know so well from a famous German duo and we all know what became of this comeback. Wish the 5 guys having a good time, the female fans healthy vocal cords (yelp technically meant) and all of us more good songs.
