Hoping to have found a workable and variable battery charger for the 'way, excellent' Eneloop batteries, I bought the unit some time ago in an electric market. While the device is loading properly, and after 16 hours an automatic shutdown occurs. As in the instructions are load time for different battery types of always given under 16 hours is completely unclear if one monitor the charging time, and turn off the unit 'by hand' or whether for full battery charging only a trickle charge is carried out. The instruction manual is silent about it, so I bought from anxiety to overcharge batteries, precaution or the safety socket list Vario Linea by Ehmann, with the switch-off times can be programmed up to 24 hours. Another disadvantage is that you can charge the batteries in pairs, which is quite annoying because there are many devices that run with odd numbers of batteries. The included manual is a smooth impudence: Although it comes in many languages, but is written so small that it is almost illegible.
To anyone who wants a much better charger, I highly recommend that you do not buy this device but the MQN04 Although more expensive, but far better (and also available at Amazon) model MQRO6W. This is microprocessor controlled 'the batteries are therefore not overloaded - that charge also allows individual battery and fast-charge. I regret not having more discovered this device. The readability of the supplied instructions, however, is flawed with this device.
