Once connected, there are many false contacts that make you lose synchronization or charging time, it is necessary to move the iPhone on its base for reconnecting. I tried to change the USB cable to an Apple Certified, and he has the same faulty contact.
As an inexpensive cable purchased together, this base is gone in the trash after a week of attempts to use. So I preferred a certified Apple base, more expensive but ... that works!
