Bad sectors, minutes long Seektime

The plate was damaged (not outwardly, but when it comes to data storage). Although it could be described, but the access to files created partly a minute-long Seektime where the access at the previous board was carried out without noticeable delay.

I've then tested several times with different operating systems on two different computers, had generally always many problems, display of bad sectors and SMART error messages. Have they returned.

Actually I'm not fond of negative reviews with defective products. For hard drives, you can use this reviews but still clearly visible whether the model has a higher than normal failure rate. Therefore, exceptionally a star.

Otherwise, I would give it three to four stars. In the areas where they worked without problems, the write speed was rather slow for a 2.5 "HDD -2TB with 90-100 MB / s (linear writing 1GB files). The volume was a little too high for my taste , in a quiet notebook will they listen well. Now as a replacement I have a Samsung Spinpoint M9T with 2TB, which is quieter and faster (110-120 MB / s). Regardless of the defect, I would rather recommend the Spinpoint general than the Momentus ,
