not having seen comments for this shell,
I just leave mine on my personal view of the strengths and weaknesses of this hull "Ballistic Shell Gell Maxx GS3".
Firstly a big thank you to Amazon which as usual is very responsive about sending their products, in fact I got my two packages (GS3 and the hull in advance)
In terms of the "Ballistic Shell Gell Maxx"
strengths:
- The hull solid area and materials seem to be qualities.
- The design pleases me personally, rugged look that leaves no room for chance on the protection of the notebook,
be it the front, back, sides or angles perfectly protected air (4 layers of protection)
- The grip remains unchanged, all buttons are accessible and only the sensation of touch is changing due to the first layer of the hull "soft rubber"
- The screen protector is replaceable and responsiveness of the unit remains unchanged.
- Ports and openings are protected.
Weak points:
- Can become cumbersome for people who do not like "big case" the weight and size of the cell increases
- The design will not appeal to everyone (advice of a friend who in horror hulls)
- Quality screen display decreases (I explain, is just one of the protections put on display "a hard but flexible plastic."
It gives effect "sandblasted" especially visible watching a video, for example, the effect is still very light remains visible).
- The protective screen that leaves fingerprints (although even without this protection the Galaxy S3 as most smartphones touch leaves fingerprints)
CONCLUSION:
I wanted a "real case" that is there to protect my laptop if dropped (the laptop is still out, but the shell gives me confidence on the day when it will happen).
The design can be debated ... Although it pleases me personally.
See for yourself if you want a laptop beautiful unprotected or protected laptop with a really unusual design for me the choice was made, given the fragility level of the screen and the cost of this smartphone.
To finish I would recommend that this shell although prices are still high (36) the quality of materials seem to be there.
If what counts first of all is for you to keep your laptop intact on impact and that the "slight drop in quality to the screen level" if we can call it a decline in quality. I would say a tiny visual impairment.
If these minor flaws do not hinder you charge without hesitation.
